Hello and thank you for checking out our website, I hope you will join us for a class soon. My name is Sarah Rous and I manage and teach at Henham Yoga Studio. Please read on for a little history and update of our much loved yoga studio and what we can offer you.

My husband Hektor & I undertook the renovation of the Henham Barns in 2015, transforming what was a derelict storage barn with a falling down roof into a beautiful space for events and weddings. The yoga studio was purpose built on the first floor to make the most of the views out onto Henham Park.

Henham Yoga Studio has been open since January 2016. We have hosted many successful retreats, workshops, events and classes. The diversity of these activities has ranged from every type of yoga (including pregnancy and kids), pilates, Qi Gong, dance, circuits, meditation and many more.
I am especially delighted by the amount we have raised for charity during the last six years and the friendly, welcoming community we have created.

During the Covid pandemic, we took classes outside in the summer and created Henham Yoga Studio online, providing free classes on YouTube and full length presmium classes on demand.

The Studio

Finding Henham Yoga Studio: turn off the A12 when you see the Henham Barns sign, drive down the lime tree avenue until an electric gate opens, then park on the left hand side opposite the Barns. The Yoga Studio entrance is opposite (look for the sign in the window) go through the blue grey door. Please leave your shoes and coats in the downstairs area, and head upstairs. There is a loo at the top of the stairs available for use during class.

Inside the spacious studio there are twinkling fairy lights, twenty downlighters in the ceiling and four windows, providing lots of light & lovely views. Sonos speakers provide excellent quality audio and we installed double the recommended heating to ensure the studio is always warm.

Mats and props are available for complementary use. Props include yoga mats, buckwheat bolsters, fluffy blankets, extra long straps, spiky balls and blocks.

I hope we have created a beautiful space for you to feel welcome to come and practice yoga with us.

Please contact me if you have any questions or feedback. We hope to see you in class soon.
